2011 NACAC In Trinidad: Bermuda Team Results

The Bermuda Senior & Junior Men’s Cross Country Teams competed in the 2011 NACAC Cross Country Championships held at the Queen’s Park Savannah in Port of Spain, Trinidad. The Senior men ran 8k and the Junior men ran 6k.

The Junior boys team placed 5th out of 12 teams, while the senior men placed 6th out of 18 teams with the USA placing 1st, Canada 2nd, Trinidad 3rd, Jamaica 4th, Grenada 5th and Bermuda 6th.

Team Manager Cal Simons said there were 24 counties competing and “The course was very flat and on a field with each lap being a 2k, it was a bit rainy and cold but the team performed well.”

The North America, Central America and Caribbean Athletic Association [NACAC] is the continential confederation governing body of athletics for national governing bodies and multi-national federations within North America, Central America and the Caribbean.
