Team for NACAC Cross Country Selected
The Bermuda Track & Field Association [BTFA] have selected the Senior and Junior men’s Cross Country Team for the NACAC Cross Country Championships in Trinidad.
BTFA President Donna Watson said: “This will be a new course as the event last year was held in Tobago. It is expected to be a flat course of 2km loops on grass and will be held at the Queen’s Park Savannah in Port of Spain Trinidad. The Senior men will run 8k and the Junior men will run 6k. Other countries who will be competing consist of Mexico, USA, Canada, Jamaica, St. Lucia, St. Vincent and Trinidad and Tobago plus more.”
“I am very excited about this team as these are not only our top cross country athletes this season but they all produced some great results over the Bermuda Marathon Weeekend in their respective events.”

The team will be departing from Bermuda February 17th, for the February 19th championships.
