Their Royal Highnesses, the Earl and Countess of Wessex, arrived in Bermuda at 7pm on Wednesday evening [Mar.16]. The Count and Countess of Wessex started off their busy Thursday schedule by visiting The Centre on Angle Street and presenting Duke of Edinburgh Awards Gold Awards to ten young Bermudians. The couple then took a tour of the Co-Educational Facility in Ferry Reach, and the Countess then visited Dame Marjorie Bean Hope Academy while her husband was visiting Somersfield Academy. The Earl and Countess then went together on a visit to the Berkeley Institute.
