Repairs: Coot Pond Road To Close
The Ministry of Public Works, Highways Section, advises of repairs to Coot Pond Road due to storm erosion – traffic to be restricted to one way and no heavy trucks
Minister of Public Works Derrick Burgess today [Apr.19] advised that repairs will be carried out on a section of Coot Pond Road by Tobacco Bay, and traffic restrictions will be in place for one month.
Starting from tomorrow, traffic will be restricted to one-way only from Naval Tanks Hill to Barry Road and no heavy trucks will be permitted to use the road with the exception of emergency vehicles and other Government service vehicles.
These works are being undertaken to stabilize the edge of Coot Pond Road that has been undermined by erosion.
The Ministry of Public Works apologized for any inconvenience that may result.
