BTFA Announces Island Games Team
The Bermuda Track and Field Association [BTFA] has named the team that will represent Bermuda at the upcoming Island Games, which will be held in the Isle of Wight from June 25 to July 1.
BTFA President Donna Watson said, “We would have liked to have a bigger team but due to the timing some of the athletes were unavailable due to school commitments and some traveling to other meets. The team is strong and we expect some good results.”
The female team members are May 24th champion Deon Breary, Jennifer Alen, Victoria Clarke, Shianne Smith and Melissa Clarke.
The males on the team are Sean Trott, Gary Raynor and Stephen Allen. Traveling with the team will be Coach Tony Bean coach and Team Manager Robert Oliver.
