June 18th: “Girl Power Bermuda”
GP Production presents for the first time in Bermuda, an all female lineup with “Girl Power Bermuda” on Saturday, June 18 at Barr’s Bay Park.
The event will be hosted by Power Girl of Power 95 and features ZJ Elektra of Jamaica’s Zip 103FM, Ms. DJ Revz from The Toronto Revellers KOS Radio, Antiguan soca artist Tizzy performing her hit song Expose and many new hits. Bermuda’s own DJ Black Swan and rapper Ms. Malz will also grace the stage.
DJ Traci Steele who tours with Musiq Soulchild and recently performed in Bermuda, is back by popular demand. She is one of Atlanta’s top radio DJ’s and will be bringing the hip hop flavor.
The event promises to be high energy as the performers play the best in Soca, Reggae and Hip Hop. Patrons are encouraged to arrive early as security will be tight, and there will be numerous giveaways and drink specials between 9pm and 11pm.
A spokesperson said, “The promoters see this as an opportunity to highlight female talent and raise awareness about the appreciation for women in general. Part proceeds of this event will go to the Women’s Resource Center.”
