Fairmont Appoints New Learning Manager

The Fairmont Southampton’s Regional Director of Human Resources, Nelda Simons today [July 14] announced the appointment of Bermudian Felicia Rickards to the post of Learning Manager at the hotel.

Ms. Simons said, “Felicia brings over 20 years of International Business, Course Facilitation, Life Coaching and Human Resources Development experience to this position. Her impressive background, outstanding personality and tremendous work ethic will be useful in her new role and we welcome her contribution to the Fairmont Southampton’s Human Resources team.”

Felicia Rickards has a Diploma of Arts and Science from the Bermuda College, a BSc. in Psychology and Sociology from Indiana State University and a Masters of Arts, Business Development and Human Resources Development from Webster University, Bermuda. Most recently Ms Rickards achieved her Certified Life Coach Practitioner status with the Certified Coaches Federation

Ms. Rickards most recent experience includes acting as a Human Resources Development consultant for both local and overseas entities, a Senior Wealth Manager with a high focus on client presentations and Colleague sales training and a Senior Account Representative for a large local insurance firm.

Felicia Rickards has been a YouthNet Mentor in Bermuda and has volunteered as a Recruitment Officer for the Bermuda Human Resources Association.
