Harry Potter Premiere Fundraiser Tonight
Delta Sigma Theta, a local registered charity will tonight [July 15], host the premiere screening of Harry Potter and Deathly Hallows: Part 2 as a fundraiser. This movie fundraiser will help pay for the purchase of books and other community activities like the Delta GEMS college tour.
A spokesperson said, “The movie premiere of Harry Potter and Deathly Hallows: Part 2 will be an experience for all ages. Hosted by the ladies of Delta Sigma Theta, Bermuda Alumnae Chapter on July 15th, guests will enjoy a complementary Magic Show, specially made Harry Potter Party Bags and have the chance to represent their favorite House [i.e. Griffendor].”
“We are also offering some great prizes for the top 3 Best Dressed costumes and giving out Trivia prizes also. In addition, ticket holders will receive 15% off at Daisy and Mac.”
“It will be an awesome way for Potter fans to enjoy the finale. Tickets are $40 available at Daisy & Mac or Speciality Cinema. The magic show will start at 6:30pm and the movie starts at 7:00pm.”
“This can be a great family event for all ages. Movie is rated PG-13.”
“Delta is a registered charity that strives to assist the community in every area needed. Our biggest program is the Children’s Reading Festival, which promotes literacy throughout our island by providing free books and reiterating the importance of family-time reading. It will be held on September 24th at Victoria Park. The Harry Potter movie fundraiser will give patrons a chance to support this worthwhile cause and enjoy the final chapter of a loved movie through the experience we have created.”
