Kids’ Lemonade Stand Raises $150 For SPCA

August 18, 2011

While much of the island was embroiled in a bus strike today [Aug.18], four young girls spent the day working at their lemonade stand in an effort to raise money for the SPCA.

Starting from 7am this morning, 11-year-old Sophie Clare, 7-year-old Alex Clare, 8-year-old Linnea Kuruvilla, and 11-year-old Annika Kuruvilla kept busy selling lemonade, coffee, water and dog treats.

Nobody told me about this. I love lemonade. My dog loves treats. I would have definetly supported them. Great way to keep busy. I never had a lemonade stand as a child but I did sell some of my parents stuff to make money. I do miss those days.
