Yesterday [Sept.25] a host of Corona League football games took place

Valley FC 0 North Village Rams 2

The North Village Rams continued their winning ways, with a 2 – 0 victory over Valley. Eugene Calder scored a goal minutes before the half time whistle when he intercepted a pass between two defenders and beat the Valley goalkeeper from just inside the box. Calder doubled the lead in the second half as the North Village Rams held on for the three points.

BAA 5 Flanagan’s Onion’s 2

BAA got two goals from Neil Churchill, while Damian Mendoza, Alex Hunter and Ross Nottingham got solo strikes as they defeated the Flanagan’s Onion’s 5 – 2. Adam Griffiths and John Tully scored for Flanagan’s.

West End United 0 Lock N Key 3

Fresh from his performance at the National Sports Center, Dion Stovell took his talents to BAA and scored twice for Lock N Key as they defeated West End United 3 – 0, Stephen Astwood scored the other.

Lobster Pot 4 Vasco 2

Lobster Pot got two goals from Henry Santucci and single strike from Nicholas Dunkle and Jonathan Bean as they defeated the defending Corona League Champions 4 – 2, Vasco got goals from Rui Sebestiao and Joe Barbosa.
