Castle Scores Hat-Trick in Indianapolis Win

October 27, 2011

A hat trick from Bermudian footballer Casey Castle led the University of Indianapolis Men’s soccer to a 3-1 win at William Jewell.

William Jewell struck first, scoring with just less than eight minutes to play in the first half. Castle scored the first score  in the 47th minute to tie the match 1-1.

He then put the University of Indianapolis ahead with a rocket free kick from 20 yards out in the right corner a minute and a half later.

Castle added the final University of Indianapolis goal with about seven minutes to play, sending in another long free kick from the far side.

The win clinches a Great Lakes Valley Conference Men’s Soccer Championship tournament berth for the University of Indianapolis for the second season in a row.
