Fairmont Salutes Their Memory Makers

The Fairmont Southampton has recognized 23 employees for their outstanding performance during the months of August and September.

In a special ceremony held during the hotel’s All Colleague Luncheon on Wednesday, October 12, Fairmont Southampton employees nominated by guests and coworkers for going above and beyond in their duties were recognized as “Memory Makers.”

“Impeccable service is one of the key contributors to making a first time visitor to The Fairmont Southampton a return visitor to Bermuda,” said Managing Director Bermuda and General Manager of the Fairmont Southampton George Terpilowski.

“Our colleagues have made a tremendous positive impression on not just our guests, but on the men and women who work alongside them in the trenches helping to deliver on first rate and consistent service delivery.

“Particular note must be made of our four Star Colleagues Franz Williams, Aneesh Kuruvilla, Eldon Swan and Derrick Jones, our Leader for the Quarter Tess Clarke and our Team of the Quarter the Banquets Set up Crew. Fairmont Hotels & Resorts are renowned for the value we place on creating lasting memories for our guests. These colleagues have displayed an unparalleled level of commitment and dedication to service delivery and we appreciate their work and their positive example,” continued Mr. Terpilowski.

The Fairmont Southampton “Memory Makers,” are nominated by guests and colleagues at the resort for creating a very special moment that has created a positive and lasting impression. Each Memory Maker received a $50 gift certificate to the store of their choice, and the Star Colleagues received $150 gift certificates.
