Photos: Hundreds Attend PLP Rally
Wednesday night [Oct.19] saw hundreds of supporters turn out to the PLP Rally held at Elliott Primary School grounds. Performers entertained the crowd while MC for the evening Nadanja kept the crowd delighted in between acts. PLP Government members and party executives were then announced to the crowd before the speakers took the stage.
Main speakers for the event were Party Leader and Premie Paula Cox and Anthony Richardson, PLP candidate in the upcoming bye-election in Constituency 12 on November 1.

The rally marked the start of the party’s Annual Delegates’ Conference. Performers included Sheila Smith, H&H Gombeys, Willard Burch and others.
The PLP will continue its conference in private sessions on Thursday and Friday at Devonshire Recreation Club. Closing event for the conference will be the Banquet on October 29 where the guest speaker will be dynamic young British Labour Party MP, David Lammy.
Tickets for the banquet, to which the public is invited, are available at PLP Headquarters, 16 Court Street, Hamilton or by contacting Belinda Cyrus at 292-2264.

If a group of mainly-white people get together to express an opinion LaVerne usually makes a point out of the racial make-up of the group. She usually implies there is some racial bias.
Well, I’d like to point out that as far can be determined from the photos above, there were no white people at the PLP Rally.

Silly rant? Just an observation.
Wow hate just consumes you all. It was a celebration of life and the fact that it will go on and the work will be put in so that we can all move forward as one Bermuda. The only color I saw there was a sea of green.
