Police Appeal For Witnesses In Traffic Death

The Bermuda Police Service is appealing for information regarding the whereabouts of leading sportsman Landro Minors just prior to the fatal collision that claimed his life around 9:45pm last Tuesday [Nov. 1].

In particular, Police are interested in speaking with anyone who may have seen Mr. Minors between the area of Collectors Hill and Middle Road near the junction with Clarendon Road, Smith’s Parish earlier that evening.

Anyone with any information is encouraged to contact PC Tyrone Fox on 247-1788.

Mr, Minors was an exceptional athlete, who excelled in both cricket and football.

The 27-year-old East End man played Premier Division Football and Premier Division Cricket for St. David’s Cricket Club. He also made a Cup Match appearance for St. George’s Cricket Club in 2009 scoring 21 total runs, this came two weeks after he scored 127 not out against Flatts Victoria in an Eastern County match.

    A week after accident BPS appealing for witnessess…. the first witness gave their name to a cosntable on the spot.. I would have thought they would have been called the next day for their statement while their mind was fresh…. Come on Bermuda Police Service… that person just went to give statement after a family member called them about the appeal… Please BPS can’t you try better!!!
