Video Replay: WHS Equestrian Show
[Live stream over] The first day of the Welcome Home Equestrian Show started at 10am today [Dec.17], and you can watch the action live below.
This event will showcase some of the island’s top equestrians; Patrick Nisbett and Jillian Terceira, fresh off their Pan Am Games competition; Ki Minors currently in Wellington, Florida, where he has been competing, training and selling horses on the East Coast and Raishun Burch, who is currently in the UK at University but who is regularly based in Germany competing internationally – all returned home to compete.
Each professional rider will lead a team of local juniors and adults in a round of show jumping competition. 2011 Pan Am Games qualifier, Annabelle Collins who competes in Europe, returned to the island and will showcase a dressage demonstration.
Funds raised from this competition will assist the Bermuda Equestrian Federation in their efforts for the 2012 London Olympics as well as for the BEF Junior Fund, which will allow a promising young rider to train overseas in the summer of 2012.
