Netball: Youth & Senior Division Results
On Saturday [Dec.3] the Bermuda Netball League hosted both Youth and Senior Division games at Bernard Park.
UNDER 12 Division
Brianna Swainson scored 12 goals and Druw Bascome scored 5 goals to lead the North Village Lady Rams to a 17 – 5 win over the Cougar Cubs, who got 4 goals from Kylah Hunt and a single goal from Kyarjae Flood. The Netts Whites defeated the Colts Warriors 35 – 9. Teyah Lindo scored 22 goals to lead the Netts Whites to victory, with Inshan-Nae Smith adding 8 goals and Marley Simons scored 3 goals, Zahria Furbert scored 5 goals for the Colts Warriors and Delia Ebbin added 3 goals.
The YMSC Baby Bluebirds got 6 goals from Krishay Tucker, Kessiah Jackson scored 4 goals, Tanzania Bean scored twice and Ashunti Crockwell scored once as they defeated the Netts Green 13 – 7. Nyumi Tear scored 6 times and Makeda Smith added the other for the Netts Green.
UNDER 14 Division
T’James Branch scored 10 goals, Shondae Woods-Bell added 9 goals and Mykaelah Smith scored 8 goals for the Nu-Art Superstarz as they defeated the NVCC Lady Rams 27 – 3, Deja Harvey scored 3 goals for the Lady Rams. The YMSC Bluebird Young’uns defeated Data Tech 18 – 12, Satashie Rogers scored 10 goals, while Demiqua Danield and Imani Smith both scored 4 goals for the YMSC Bluebird Young’uns. Donnaruri Robinson scored 10 goals and Nia Dailey scored twice for Data Tech.
UNDER 16 Division
The IAS Shooters went down 47 – 13 to Signworx. Danielle Onyia scored 43 goals and Jasmyn Renfroe scored 4 goals for Signworx, while the IAS Shooters got 10 goals from Taahira Butterfield and 3 goals from Keshunae’ Robinson. The NVCC Lady Rams defeated the YMSC Jr. Bluebird 17 – 14, Cher-Rai Furbert scored 13 goals and T’Yanna Hayward added 4 goals for the Lady Rams, while the YMSC Jr. Bluebirds got 11 goals from Keizhari Knight, while Meisha Gibbons added 2 goals and Liantae Caines scored once.
Senior Division
New Life moved to the top of the BNA Senior League Standing along with the Data Tech Netts after both teams both won their games at Bernard Park. New Life defeated the YMSC Blazing Bluebirds 64 – 27, while the DataTech Netts won by default over the Smooth and Easy Tigers. Fredericka Samuels scored 21 goals for the YMSC Blazing Bluebirds, while Ehbone Jones and Akiela Hendrickson added 3 goals each.
