Soccer Programme Awards Ceremony
On Monday [Dec. 5] HSBC and the Bermuda Brazilian Football School [BBFS] will present certificates and other special awards to the graduates of the HSBC-BBFS Life Skills Programme.
During the past seven weeks, the students have received football coaching from Dennis Brown, Jermaine Smith and Cal Blankendal.
The coaching has been combined with life skills presentations at the end of each session, in partnership with; HSBC, Jumpstart Cabinet Office Interns, BBFS and the Westgate Inmate Facility via Dennis Brown.
HSBC and BBFS will recognize three outstanding students for their essays on Bermuda football legend Clyde Best [pictured] and one student for their commitment to the programme.
A representative of HSBC will be in attendance to congratulate the students and sports photographer Ras Mykkal is scheduled to attend to present copies of his recently published book “Click! I Got Yah – Volume 1.”

The BFA plan Cal…
The Strategic plan has been finished and financial statements have been audited. Ask your club President if you are affiliated with a club for updates etc. The BFA addresses the affiliates at the AGM and Semi AGM (to be held in January 2012).
We also address the public inquiry board on football. I hope this helps and if you have any direct concerns please contact the GS of the BFA , David Sabir and I am certain he will assist or put you in touch with the relevant executive member.
