Assault: 17 Yr Old Female Hospitalized
On Wednesday morning [Jan.18], a member of the public found an injured 17-year-old female outside a home in Paget and contacted paramedics. She is presently hospitalized and listed in stable condition.
Police are appealing for any witnesses, particularly anyone who may have seen two or three men travelling in a car in the area at the time.
A police spokesperson said, ” Around 11:50am on Wednesday January 18th, police responded to a report of an assault at a residence in the South Road, Paget area, near the junction with Cobbs Hill Road.
“A member of the public reportedly found the victim; a 17 year old Paget woman outside the home and contacted paramedics.
“The injured teenager was conveyed to KEMH via ambulance for treatment and at last check was in stable condition on a general ward. Inquiries are ongoing.
“Police are appealing for any witnesses, particularly anyone who was in the area around the time of the incident and may have seen two or three men travelling in a car to contact the Hamilton Criminal Investigation Unit on 295-0011.”
I hope she is going to be okay. I hope whoever did this gets caught and punished quickly. Im guessing these idiots were never raised and told never to put your hands on a woman.
