Football: Corona & First Division Results

Football games in the Corona League and First Division took place yesterday [Feb.25], with Tomiko Flood the big scorer of the day, finding the back of the net 5 times to lead Lock N Key to a 11 – 1 win over St. David’s.

West End United 2 Lobster Pot 2

Dwight Basden scored twice for West End United, while Lobster Pot got goals from Khanai Fray and Henry Santucci as the two teams played to a 2 – 2 draw.

Robin Hood 6 Vasco Mariners 1

Robin Hood defeated 9-men Vasco 6 – 1, trading in his sailboat for his football boots Jessie Kirkland and Grant McKellar both scored twice, while Gary Adams and Lloyd Holder scored a goal each.

BAA 1 Tuff Dogs 4

Tuff Dogs came from behind to defeat BAA in a top of the table clash, Damien Mendoza scored to give BAA a 1 – 0 lead in the first half, however Tuff Dogs got two second half strikes from Lamaul Crofton and single strikes from Kenny Outerbridge and Yusef Pitt to complete the comeback.

St. David’s 1 Lock N Key 11

Tomiko Flood scored 5 times to lead Lock N Key to a 11 – 1 win over St. David’s. Anthony Wolfe scored twice, while Gladstone Stovell, Brian Irvine, Quinton Baisden and Damon Francis all scored a goal each.

First Division: BAA 1 Somerset Eagles 0

At the BAA Field a first half penalty converted by Willie Clemens gave the home team BAA a 1 – 0 win over the visiting Somerset Eagles.
