Football: Premier & Corona League Results
In a Premier Division match-up last night [Feb.24] at the Devonshire Rec, the Devonshire Cougars walked away with a 3 – 0 victory over the PHC Zebras.
The Cougars took a 1 – 0 lead over the Zebras in the 18th minute when Kijaun Franks scored. Five minutes into the second half the Devonshire Cougars doubled the lead when Kwame Steede scored, and then Steede scored his second goal of the game to make the final score 3 – 0.
In a Corona League game also held last night, Nakia Smith scored a hat-trick to lead the North Village Rams to a 5 – 0 win over Flanagan’s.
