Tourists Injured In Rental Bike Crash

A Canadian man and 7-year-old girl were injured after they were involved in a accident which saw their rental cycle crash into a sidewalk.

A police spokesperson, “Around 1:55pm on Saturday, February 18th police and first responders were dispatched to a reported single vehicle collision on Mangrove Bay Road in Sandys parish.

“It appears that a rental cycle was travelling along Mangrove Bay Road when it collided with a sidewalk. As a result the rider, a 52 year old Canadian man and his pillion passenger, a 7 year old Canadian girl, were injured.

“Both visitors were taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment; however their injuries are not believed to be life threatening. Inquiries into this incident are underway.”

      You might as well say don’t let visitors bring their children on vacation…

      The visitor is responsible for his own actions and must face the consequences of his actions. Stop trying to baby sit those seeking adventure. He probably got distracted looking at the ocean, besides nobody was hurt badly. And they have now truly earned the Tshirt that says I survived the Bermuda moped..!!!
