Rebecca Faulkenberry To Appear At Birdland
Bermuda’s theatrical sensation Rebecca Faulkenberry will be singing the blues next week when she joins award-winning orchestrator Jonathan Tunick and his Broadway Moonlighters at New York’s legendary Birdland jazz club on Monday [Mar. 19].
One of Broadway’s premier orchestrators, Mr. Tunick will be leading a big band of Broadway musicians in his own arrangements.
Ms Faulkenberry currently plays the title character’s love interest Mary Jane Watson in Broadway’s “Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark”..
Her other theatre credits include “Rock of Ages“ on Broadway, as well as “Aunt Dan and Lemon” and “High School Musical 1″ in London’s West End.
Mr. Tunick is one of only 12 people in the world who has one at least one of all of the four major entertainment awards: Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony.
