WE demand the power to move people out of the residence where-ever fire arms or drugs are found . Well done BPS .

  2. Awake says:

So a loaded firearm was recovered from a residence? No mention of anyone being arrested! That’s right, the firearm got into the house on its own waiting to be used on its next victim! Every person living in the house should have been arrested!

    • KMA!!! says:

I think this is the same place they got the guys for the robbery in hamilton parish.

    • Maria Darby says:

people like you are so boring.. You have to find the negative in everythin.. Be happy that there is one less gun on the streets… Maybe there was people arrested.. Just look at the positive.. Get a life! Well done BPS!

      • Tolerate says:

Common sense? Not so common. We will see in a couple of months how many around here have common sense.
Shame what is common sense to most, has to be spelled out and explained to the fullest for others. THAT OR BASHED OVER THE HEAD WITH IT….

    • Finally left! says:

I can guarantee that if someone was in that house, they got arrested… its common sense.

    • LOL (original TM*) says:

I say torture people found with these guns until they tell how and where they got the gun.

      LOL

      • Come correct says:

I wonder what would happen if the weapon discharged into his feet a few times. Gun squads probably covered in gunpowder residue. Suspect tried to draw the weapon on police accidently shooting himself in the feet multiple times, later resulting in cooperation with the police…could be a very unfortunate accident. Sounds legit to me.

  10. Awake says:

Maria Darby, if the media is going to make a report such as this, the least they could report is whether or not someone has been arrested. There’s no negativity here…just concerned people! And also, maybe it’s not JUST the BPS that has done a good job. Maybe there are finally people who are getting sick and tired of not speaking up and finally willing to come forward, thus the BPS retrieving the firearm.

  11. learning says:

Good BPS. bring the sniffer dogs. Can you take metal detectors into these places? That may be good

  12. Familiar says:

Another beautiful day in paradise. Its days like this I wish I don’t read the newspaper. What a total dump our Island is becoming.
Security owner, who holds fun days and Stop the Violence Protest, caught importing close to a million dollars in drugs.
    Couple imprisoned for money laundering.
    Loaded gun found in home.
    Trio accused of home invasion.
    More job losses.
Important Department of Prisons marching because they are being ignored.
Two more businesses closed down (Silk and 64)

But hey; Government running around Cayman bragging of how they are the best in the Caribbean, while sticking it to Britain again????
Lastly, PLP saying election will be won on doorsteps? Of course, none of the above has ANY-THING to do with their management of this Island.
DAMN BDA, PLEASE VOTE COMMON SENSE AND NOT FROM THE HEART OR COLOR OR PAST….. WE NEED A CHANGE AND THIS GOVERNMENT IS NOT CAPABLE OF PROVIDING ONE. TAKE YOUR CHANCES ON AN UNKNOWN, AS WE ALREADY KNOW THE FAILURE THIS GOVERNMENT IS!!!!!
All PLP followers that defend, and defend; enough is enough.

  18. The Hell!! says:

One less gun on the streets is a good thing. The Police are finally acting on the tip offs the receive..
