Video: Nikki Butterfield Interviewed In Australia
Having won her first major professional race at the Abu Dhabi International Triathlon recently, Nikki Butterfield is now preparing for the Ironman World Championships in Kona, Hawaii.
Mrs Butterfield – the wife of top local triathlete Tyler Butterfield – was interviewed by a Sydney, Australia news station recently and spoke of her love of being a mom and career challenges. Her husband Tyler was also featured briefly, with the reporter noting that he is also a top athlete and their daughter has “quite the genetic gene pool.”
Mrs Butterfield recently returned to triathlon after four years as a professional cyclist and following the birth of her daughter, Savana Rose, in December 2010.
