  1. Vote for Terry says:

Toni who? Terry You are the best candidate and will win because of your commitment to doing what is right!

OBA/UBP a waste of time and vote, especially on someone who has done nothing of worth for the community other than get a pay check from government.

    • all clogged up says:

Lister and Weekes are good men playing on the wrong team along with Ingham and a handful of others….everyone else just stood by or agreed with the King of welfare spending millions on ‘social engineering’

      • Itsaboutallofus says:

haha…so if all the good people are on the wrong team, then shouldn’t they be the right team?

  2. Vote for Toni Spring! says:

Michael Weeks may stay as he is a great Member of Parliament but Terry Lister must go!! He has been controversial figure since the last election and Toni Spring will provide the proper representation C#33 desperately wants and needs. She is remarkable candidate and I strongly hope constituents will vote her into the House.

  3. Wandering says:

    Congratulations Michael

  4. terry says:

    Send in the Clowns,

    Don’t bother their here.

  5. True Bermudian says:

I just want to say Terry Lister is a great candidate who listens to not only his constituents but to all Bermudians out there as well.

  6. YES MATE! says:

Hasn’t Terry already proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that he is absolutely and unequivocally woffless?

    • Shaking the Head says:

Steady on there! He’s only been kicked out of Cabinet a few times. It shows true grit to stand again so he can contnue to be used a football. If the PLP wanted to show they had “reset the dial” they would have rolled out Senator Smith somewhere. Since they haven’t he is another who is too blind to see he is not welcome in the PLP and is being used.

      • Jonathan Smith says:

To the “Shake the Head says” person, I say this. I appreciate your compliment (or so it appears), but your statement is incorrect in several aspects. Actually, I was announced as the candidate in Constituency # 28 in November so, to use your term, I have been “rolled out.” I had to appear before the Candidate Selection Committee like any other candidate and receive the endorsement of a Branch. Take it from me, someone who has run an organisation of over 600 people with an annual operating budget of near $50 million and having to make decisions in a split second which could result in life or death – I have never been used. Never will be. Not then, not now.

        • Shaking the Head says:

To Senator Smith. I retract my comments about you, and wish you well in your quest to represent not only your constituents in #28 but for the benefit of Bermuda and of all Bermudians.

          • Jonathan Smith says:

Thanks very much. I do appreciate your best wishes. I do.

            • Jonathan Smith says:

Just wish that icon or whatever he’s called to the right had a slightly less sinister look!

            • Barracuda says:

why are you running for the PLP ?

            • Shaking the Head says:

Seems a shame that with your experience you are in a no win Constituency versus the safe seat that you wanted but has been given to Rolfe Commissiong, who will probably lose it.

        • Rockfish#1and#2 says:

          Slow down Jonathan,

You were not the most effective Commissioner, despite being fast tracked for political reasons.

Please provide us with an example of your making a split second decision which could have resulted in life or death.

        • Railway says:

“Take it from me, someone who has run an organisation of over 600 people with an annual operating budget of near $50 million and having to make decisions in a split second which could result in life or death, etc. etc.”

But …. did you do it well? ….. that’s what really counts. One might also be able to boast about making a gourmet meal for over 1000 guests in under an hour …. but the food served probably tasted like crap or was undercooked …. which could have resulted in a life or death situaton too.

So yeah, its all well and good to toot your own horn but if you dont know how to toot a horn in the first place you’re really not saying much in the end.

Would like to support you but cant get past what comes across as arrogance on your part. Wish that wasn’t the case, but that’s what I see and hear when you speak. Perhaps this might be a part of your image that you could work on a little as I do think you have some of what it takes to get the job done.

          • Rockfish#1and#2 says:

It is very easy to spend/waste the taxpayers money. Hell, the Government do it all the time.

      • Itsaboutallofus says:

        Shaking the Head,

Actually Senator Smith has been rolled out and is the candidate for Warwick West. Maybe you are the one who is blind…

  7. Cancer says:

It’s time for Terry Lister to retire. Terry don’t you think its time to finish up. You were the worst transport minister and you showed your ineffectiveness. This ones for you Toni Spring. You are a good candidate who brings flesh blood to the table. Terry go fishing or something!

  8. Bullseye says:

Mr. Lister claims they have the experience and talent to move Bermuda forward. It seems more that they have the experience and talent that put Bermuda in this mess. If you think they are victims of tough times then vote for more of the same. You will get it.
