  1. Viewer says:

Girl, you are not tired yet?
I understand your situation but YOU must do better for YOU. There are people who are willing to help you but you must help yourself first. You are not making things any better for yourself, so why don’t you just do what you NEED to do and not what you WANT to do. No, life is not easy but you have to make the best of your situation.

  2. Much to do about nothing says:

    This girl is alwasy missing…

  3. Wandering says:

Road still leads to Ferry Reach – they want to be adults but cause grief and sorrow to the parents/guardians – tough love and I mean serious tough love.

  4. cocoa says:

    AGAIN??!?!? Geesh!

  5. She Needs Lix Straight Up NO Talking!! says:

I guess nobody gets cut A$$E$ NO MORE! This is what she needs or make her live and reside at the place that she keeps running away to. All she is doing is embarassing herself and her family and obviously she doesn’t care so now she needs to be embarassed!

  6. Baffled says:

I don’t even get how this is news. Clearly this child likes to run away or likes to see her picture on Bernews… Tired of seeing her picture.

    • Just One says:

Too funny! Don’t she know she can just get a Facebook page and put her pic on that! Lol, gotta be you know who’s daughter…

      • Viewer says:

For some reason I was waiting for this comment!

    • ItIsWhatItIs says:

I’m tired of a child screaming out for help and assistance and the adults are making fun. Then we wonder why our kids are so screwed up. And yes, I am available to assist this young girl and her family if I can.

  7. letshaveit says:

First thing I said was “her again?!??!?!” Some body please cut her tail when she is found.

  8. Seems to like going missing says:

Are we supposed to care about someone who seems to get a kick out of “going missing”

Once missing – OK – I might worry. Anytime after that — Come by the house and pick up the rest of your stuff cause you WONT be allowed back in.

  9. Tommy Chong says:

This girl must be going somewhere when she goes missing. She could be putting her life in danger if the person who she’s staying with doesn’t care enough to send her home. Next time she comes back she should be taken to Child & Adolescent Services because somethings going on that her parents or whoever else takes care of her can’t handle. She’s too young to be put on the streets for tough love she needs professional help.

    • I feel for the island says:

You know its sad! But when some of these kids have dead beat dads, and a dead beat mom, its no hope.

      • Tommy Chong says:

There is hope if it is given to the children who can’t get it from home. There’s the Child & Adolescent Services that has rooms & counseling for the young with problems. Its up to governments services & teachers to recognize the young that need this help when the parent doesn’t & take action. If a blind eye is turned we will reap what’s been sown though sadly it seems we are at the beginning of the sowing stage it can still be sorted before its too late. I know we’ve missed quite a few already but thats why government needs to stop messing with our funds & put some into a YMCA type program.

        • 813grad says:

how do we know she isnt already in one of the systems for troubled youth on the island?

      • Viewer says:

        BULLSEYE!!!

  10. Hmmm says:

Can somebody, anybody order a social enquiry to be done. Its clear she is troubled and running away from something or someone….people that go missing have issues we know that much, now its time to find out hers and address them.

  11. DEFENDER says:

One day she may be missing.

  12. Father God, nothing is hidden from you! says:

It doesn’t appear that this lady or any of the young people that missing are truly in fact missing especially when they have been sighted in other parts of the island.

She obvious has a problem living at the residence that she is meant to be at so,duh, this is the correct governmental department can finally do their jobs and rescue her from herself and the environment that she is running away from.

As it has been already mentioned, when people run away from home it is for a obvious reason, no one in their right mind will just up and walk away from a stable home, where there is food, a place to sleep, electricity, water and security provided.

This child is crying out for help as from the sound of it, this is not the first time. I have mentioned that the correct governmental department should do something but as an after thought. She needs someone that she can trust and depend on to share what is going on with her and instead of saying ‘again’ anyone of you should opt for that position as it only takes one to make a difference and instead of speaking about the obvious problems, become a source of solutions.

I know anytime I was back there, I would be on her like white on rice.

Please save the smack and step up to the plate, you may say she doesnt want it but that is only because she make take a bit more time than you are used to giving however the turn around in her life once she knows that she has a ride or die friend will be priceless.

    • So tired says:

      Ditto

    • Likes to go missing says:

The sad part is – I bet she was probably asked to do the dishes or do her homework or not be out past 9:00pm (14 yrs young). But because we can’t be on our kids like “white on rice” (law says we cant) and I mean with a good a proper cut a$$ these kids run the show now. Parents are fed up especially if there are other kids in the house that are abiding by the rules established by the PARENTS.

Also – most parents need to STOP being your kids friends. You are their PARENT, therefore act accordingly. I just look forward to when these kids finally grow up and see the actions of their past they will realize what total jack-azzes they were. Keep all newspaper clippings to show her in about 15 years.

  13. Truth is killing' me... says:

    Get a life woman!

  14. ATLiens says:

India, by nature ,is a very sweet little girl. She and my daughter were very good friends in primary school! So sad to hear that she has gone missing (run away), but what’s really sad are the negative comments and labels put on her. I don’t know what the answer is to helping her but in my experience not everything can be solved by a cut a$$! She may need more help then what she is currently getting (obviously)!.

People lets try and remember that at the end of the day she is only 14 years old and already has adults putting labels on her. Compassion and an ability to help children connect the dots in their lives are only part of the solution. There’s more to this story than anyone of us knows. The streets are no place for any child!

  15. ItIsWhatItIs says:

I would love to assist this young girl and would do so by extending myself as a mentor and my home to her so she doesn’t have to stay with people who are clearly not good for her. Just don’t know how to get in touch with her family.

    • Viewer says:

I am so glad that you are reaching out to her becuz if I could I would also. Thank you for caring becuz she needs a lot of love, attention and guidance. If you continue looking at the comments then I will do my best to try and assist with finding her becuz I know there is someone who is willing to give her the time of day that she so desperately needs.

  16. betty Rech says:

These young girls know what they are doing I just wish these guys would think with their heads

  17. Father God, nothing is hidden from you! says:

@ItisWhatItIs and @Viewer, thank you for steping up to the plate and offering to help, don’t stop with the words alone, back it up with going to the police and media and letting them know that you are welling to give this young lady the support that she needs to become the productive citizen of Bermuda that she is meant to be! I am so looking forward to the subsequent updates of this young lady. I knew that her name rang a bell, I remember her from nursery school, she is a lovely young lady that needs help; even the lifestyle she was exposed to then was cause for concern, please somebody help her!

  18. Wee Pow says:

The should check all the cedar trees in the area

  19. Not all sense is common says:

I agree with you ‘Hmmm’. Most times, we have to get to the root of the problem instead of judging our young people all the time. Those making negative comments probably have children of your own. Think twice.

  20. IndiaB says:

There has to be a reason a child runs away…………….repeatedly. What is going on in the home; that should be the question? A child is a product of their ennvironment. If she was happy, satisfied and fulfilled she would not be doing this.

This may be a warning or call for help. She could fall in the hands of some rough waters and next thing you know she will be missing for another reason……drugs????

    • Keepin' it Real...4Real! says:

everyone says shes been missing on numerous occasions ….so why are we still looking for solutions ..?shouldnt this be in the proper authorities hands from the first incident ..???? see what im sayin…smmfh!

  21. letshaveit says:

Sticking by my previous thoughts … cut her tail

  22. Nicola Burchall says:

So glad i cant see the names up here, for those out there that wanna watch me and be negative speak about what you know for sure about! Go and pull the tree trunk outta your eye before you try to pick the splinter outta mine
