Video: Barbados Association Charity Donation
As part of its continuing efforts to support charitable organizations in Bermuda; The Barbados Association of Bermuda has made a pledge to support The Coalition for the Protection of Children.
To this end, the Association made a monetary donation of $1,150 this morning [Apr.2] for the purchase of goods for the Coalition’s breakfast feeding program and the financial aid of a needy family.
The breakfast program provides free, nutritious breakfasts every school day to hundreds of school children in Bermuda. The donation was raised through the Association’s various fund raising events held during 2011. This is just the first contribution that the Association hopes to make as it seeks to support the programs of the Coalition.
