Videos: 2012 Carifta Swimming Championships
Bermuda ended the recently concluded 2012 Carifta Swimming Championships with a very impressive 12 medals; six gold, three silver and three bronze. The nine strong Bermuda team had a very solid performance all around, with multiple records and personal bests set in the Bahamas.
12-year-old Sandys Middle School student Jesse Washington was the top Bermuda swimmer in these Games, winning a staggering seven medals in total; five gold, one silver and one bronze. 12-year-old Shannon Hassell chipped in collecting three medals, while 17-year-old swimmers Benedict Parfitt and Ashley Yearwood earned a medal each.
