Videos: 2012 Santo Cristo Dos Milagres Festival
Yesterday [May 13] Bermuda’s Portuguese community celebrated the “Festa do Senhor Santo Cristo dos Milagres” [Festival of the Christ of Miracles], a centuries old tradition that originated in the Azores.
The Santo Cristo statue was carried from St Theresa’s Cathedral with the procession passing over an intricate carpet of flowers set down on Dundonald Street.
The celebrations continued into the night with live entertainment, food and more at BAA. The first set of photos from the event can be viewed here, and the second set here.

What kind of stupid comment is this pepper? Maybe they were, maybe the were not. Will you dismiss the validity of the May 24 parade if Dr. Brown or Paula Cox can’t both be there?
