Football: Bermuda Hogges Lose 4 – 0 To Express

The Bermuda Hogges lost 4 – 0 to the Jersey Express at the NJIT Stadium on Saturday night [June 9].

On an overcast evening in front of 308 fans, the Jersey Express got goals from Christopher Karcz, Kadeem Dacres, Joseph Ovenseri and Kemal Malcolm.

Bermuda Hogges goalkeeper Tahj Bell conceded his fourteenth goal of the season in the first half as they found themselves down 3 – 0 at the break. At the half the Hogges brought in substitute goalkeeper Troy Hall, who conceded his first goal in injury time.

    Nobody plays 5 games on a road trip and expects to be successful.
    Whether its football or cricket whenever we play games back to back fatigue sets in. At home the most games we play a week is 2
    It’s not a bad team just to many games.

    Especially if you don’t rotate the players….

    When national teams play in major competitions they do play many games without the rest period that our players are accustomed to….without real funding this is the best schedule that they can negotiate…
