I travel North Shore every day. First thing in the morning (7:00) it is a racecourse. People going through the round about instead of around.

This afternoon two people on bikes passed me and about 3 other cars. I doubt they were doing the speed limit.

Where is the radar traps that used to be on this road regularly?

With an election looming, this government needs all the help they can get. Being very soft on criminals and non existent on the roads is one way to ensure votes. The UBP learned that by being soft on crime, it garnered votes, the PLP took it to another level, by not even knowing what crime is.

People need to take it easy. Better to arrive somewhere late then not at all.

  3. let God deal wit it says:

You 3 people who commented better F OFF!! This person is in critical condition and no one has sympathy? No one wants to know if the person is alright? Go do somthing better wit your life. An 80 year old man died a few weeks ago and I know he was doing the speed limit. Things happen and not all the time speeding. Watch wa u say, or say it at the right time. Go talk politics somewhere else. U people making this a political issue wen not needed. F OFF. To the family I hope n wish everything turns out ok.

I hope the young man recovers, but generally I’m surprised this doesn’t happen more often. There are maniacs out there. They put us all at risk.

  5. smh twice says:

i am really wondering how well my fellow bermudians can read. Nowhere in this article does it say that the young man in question was speeding or even a factor. Oh yeah right….i forgot…. because you are bermudian than you already know what happend even if you wasn’t there!SMDH. Nobody knows YOUR business like a Bermudian.I am a Bermudian so i know he had on pink and yellow speedos and its all governments fault because i am not grown enough to take resposibility for my own damn life. Best wishes for the young man and his family. May he have a successful recovery! And shame on most but not all for assuming.

  6. starlove says:

B may God watch over you and that you have a fast recovery
    we love you very much.
It is so sad how people can be so negative when only God really knows what happened

  7. Cousin says:

Absolutly unbelievable!!! This young man is a rare gentleman and is fighting for recovery and people are sitting around making judgements over assumptions that have nothing at all to do with anything. Sick, insensitive and way below the belt. Get better fast J there are lot of people praying for you. SMH
