Nothing good happens after midnight people. There is a reason our parents used to tell us that.

It’s always scary to hear reports like this. Its one thing for an innocent person to battle for their life after road accidents, but when I see that they’re this young it just makes me fear that I might know them. Regardless of whether or not I know this person; whoever you are, I can only hope you will recover as best you can. Good luck.

It would be good if the police would release reports on the blood alcohol level of accident victims if found to be above the legal limit. If nothing else to deter others from making the same mistake.

Do you really ,really think that alcohol is the only mind altering substance that ppl are driving ‘under the influence’ of ?

Maybe you need a little more exposure to the world before you type your opinions.

I pray that this young man recovers well from his accident. Unfortunately we lost a friend to the roads this weekend in another bike accident, I can only pray that this young man is able to pull through. my thoughts and prayers are with him and his family.

2 guys passed me today at 5;26pm along warwick pond and i thought that i had taken a wrong turn somewhere and had ended up on a racing circuit…they were skimming all the cars in line, then i noticed traffic was slowing to a halt….i was actually trying to look around the bend to see if they had collided (khyber pass corner is notorious for death riders)but NAAH! it werent them …but i was actually hoping that it was so that i could have laughed at the ineptness of some bermudians….thats jus how i feel now…nothing but deaths in the past few days or weeks BUT IT DONT MEAN F#@KS to them so why should it mean something to me.
i will tell you this though….i have a daughter and senior mother…GOD better get the rider that hits any one of them before I do.
every generation has been told by the previous generation that the roads are not what they used to be ie;traffic has increased 10 fold enuff said.
by the way im not an old slowpoke on the road either now that pissess me off also BUT very experienced in driving, probably moreso than some POLICE….have you ever noticed that taking your examination for driving TCD seems to only worry about how you park..? lmfao
i could go on forever but its a waste of time Self Survival is the name a de Game now bie!

WOW. Bernews I am all for freedom of speech but this comment is extremely insensitive and unnecessary. Just as you screen comments in regards to a legal interest you should do the same for negative and insensitive comments in the interests of the family members. I’m offended and a bit hurt that you would use a story you know nothing about a young man you know nothing about and talk extremely reckless. Be mindful of your words. To the positive comments Thank You. They are much appreciated. Positivity is much needed at this time.
