Video: Pacers Return Home With 38 Medals
Members of the Bermuda Pacers Track Club returned to Bermuda this afternoon [July 24] after taking part in a US track meet which saw them collect a staggering 38 medals in total. The team won 18 golds, 11 silvers and 9 bronze medals at the recently concluded Blunt ECI Track meet held at Duke University in Durham North Carolina.
This earned the team second place for the second year in a row, with the girls placing second overall and the boys placing third overall. This makes the 31st appearance the Pacers have made at the event.
Medalists include Justin Donawa, Ryan Outerbridge, Quaashie Douglas, Rachel Fox, Aaron Jacobs, Zakiyyah Showers, Sela Tuzo, Jahmari Sutton, Zekiah Lewis, Juma Mouchette, Jade Johnston, Kyrah Scraders , Sakari Famous, Zak-Kayza Parsons, Elisha Darrell, Sean Tucker, Demiqua Daniels, Destani Warner, Taahirra Butterfield, Kyle Webb, Azaire Smith and Paige Bruton.
