Stilt Walkers To Appear At Gombey Festival
The Department of Community and Cultural Affairs will be hosting the Gombey Festival on Saturday [Sept 22] starting at 5:30pm located on the grounds of the W.E.R. Joell Tennis Stadium.
Activities for the evening include live performances by The Warner Gombey Troupe, Warwick Gombey Troupe, The New Generation Places Gombeys, H&H Gombeys, Roots Gombeys and The Gombey Warriors.
Gombeys & Stilt walkers perform at last years festival:
There will be a special tribute to the 2012 Gombey Festival Honourees and special performances by the visiting Stilt-walkers from St. Kitts. Food vendors will be on hand and there will be Gombey inspired face painting for kids and local Gombey crafts available.
