JetBlue Flight Diverts For Sick Passenger

JetBlue Flight 831 diverted to Bermuda’s LF Wade International Airport on Monday evening [Oct 22] after a passenger on board the flight became ill.

Emergency service personnel attended the airport and met the flight at the main terminal. Flight 831 was on route from New York to Dominican Republic when we understand a passenger fell ill and the pilot requested an emergency diversion to land the patient in Bermuda.

The flight landed at approximately 5.45pm and emergency service personnel tended to the passenger before transporting them to King Edward Memorial Hospital for treatment. After taking on fuel, JetBlue Flight 831 continued on its way to Cibao International Airport in Dominican Republic.
