Prayers go out to all involved
I can only imagine what happened there. That is frequent accident spot. There is a sign at the entrance of Marley Beach stating ‘No Right Turn’. Most people that come of that gate ignore the sign and risk getting hit by traffics going west. Vehicles going out of Marley Beach must turn left and turn around at Astwood Park to go east. Some put up a mirror so that traffic coming out of Marley Brach can turn right which was the worst thing to do. The accidents increased. I’m surprised W & E allowed the mirror to be there.
Thank you Tin-man for squeaking these observations. You’ll be good to go just as soon as the wonderful wizard gives you that heart.
I pray that these folk recover from their injuries. Be careful on the road everyone.
@Not all sense is common…the use of a bit more tact next time rather than trying to sound so knowledgeable would be better. A simple set of well wishes to the accident victims and their families would suffice. No disrespect intended, but it needed to be said.
some people just never learn….the way you ride I saw this coming ages ago
The way you ride, I came ages ago too.
With the amount of damage on the bikes – would this happen at 20mph??
Not an expert just asking
Who drives 20 mph?!!! Please stop with the ridiculous comments…..u can’t even find a cop that drives that slow…SMH
It’s a race track up this way, day or night, the track crews were there quickly and got the track back open soon afterwords for more racing action.
3 bikes? seriously? how in the world can 3 bikes collide? unless they are driving crazy fast they have no time to avoid one another
Looking at these wrangled bikes, that God they are alive
Oh well
@ Judge Dredd. It is what it is.
I’m not braggin, as its not something to brag on. I packed raced in the late 70′s with 40 to 60 other teens with ragging testosterone flowing through our veins. At upwards to 55mph on beefed up Mobys, Cyrus, and peugoets, we rode crazy, but not stupid. that was the only rule of pack racing. and we all went home alive. These kids today, they just ride stupid
Thank God you and your family were one of the fortunate ones. You sound ignorant and stupid to even mention that because pack racing as anyone would tell you was just plain stupid!! I knew many pack racers back then and some are in their grave today because of it. Your right about one thing, that is not something anyone should want to brag about. You are right, some of the children ride stupid today and it was stupid how you pack racers carried on back then.
Yeah..you braggin
Yes, everyone is entitled to their own opinion but please before some of you make your negative comments just remember that they could easily be one of your close family members, a loved one. Some of you really need to show some compassion for the families involved before you place your negative comments. One more thing, to those of you who ass-u-me…… There is a young man who is now fighting for his life and the family is very devastated as any family would be. To make matters worse he was not the one at fault but he is the one with the most serious injuries. What you all may want to do is pray for this young man because if this happened to one of your loved ones I’m sure you would want people to do the same…… My prayers are with you neighbor. To the family, stay strong.
well a$$-u-me if you re -read my post, I made absolutely no reference to the report, nor did I directly comment on what may have led to that accident. I simply made a general statement regarding the way kids ride and drive today. No I’m not proud of being an ex-packer but the lack of overall riding skills of most kids today are way too low to handle the high power stock motor cycles they are allowed to ride. I think the courts should go back to automatic 3 year suspensions for speeding/reckless driving and other bad behaviour that we see on the roads. Although pack racing was illegal and yes, dangerous, At least we were smart enough to race after midnight when the roads were clear of traffic.
@ swing voter
I think your are clerly out of your depth here. Pack racing has always been dangerous and many young lives have been lost as a result. If we go back the the 70′s and 80′s, many young men (and a few women)lost their lives due to pack racing. The reality is that many of our young people meet untimely deaths as a result of traffic collisions. I state collisons becasue many of these deaths are not accidents but due to poor choices.
In this instance, we can not comment on anything based on the amount of damage since if a bike is coming toward you at speed and you are travelling slowly, the amount of damage that may result from the collision or you taking evasive action is not a direct reflection of your initial speed.
Under the circumstances, I add my prayers and good wishes to all involved since it was obviously a very serious accident. The overall message to all of us is to ride more carefully and defensively, since we literally have to look out for other users even if we are riding safely.
Where is the third bike ? Anyway ur blatantly non riders 3 of you deck out shameeee might as well stick to busin it from now on kiddo
Who let his clown in to the discussion?
Well is this just great -___- whenever there is something bad a$$ or insane everyone wants to speak out or give their two rusty pennies but what about all the positive news hmmm no one ever says anything on that hmmm i see some really bad fortune likers that love this exciting shizz hmmm. My Prayers Go Out to the injured’s family. <3
What if the police and eyewitness report that one bike was heading west like a crazed lunatic and lost control, colliding with 3 young law abiding riders riding the opposite direction, with one young man now fighting for his life? Hmmmmm, I suggest you cyber a%$holes and idiots STFU! Come on —, pull too my lil bro! The entire White Hill community is praying for you, your ole man —, and momma —.
And you speculating, intellectual mastabators, again, go Poke yourselves!
I pray they make a full recovery
@ignorantbermudians your name really suits you! Don’t post such an ignorant comment if you do not know any details about the accident. Ppl and their negative energy just disgusts me! Ya only commenting because you don’t know the any of the victims maybe? But let it have been one of your friends or family you won’t b singing that BS. Do us a favor and stay off the Internet and go do something constructive.
@ ignoirantbermudians you sound just that IGNORANT!! FYI and those that have posted asinine comments the young gentleman that is in ICU was riding and minding his own business was hit head on….instead of always posting negative Sh$# all the time offer words of encouragement to the family and a speedy recovery to the young man.. .
What makes me laugh is how people on here get offended and defensive these comments are peoples personal opinion if you don’t like what is posted move on to the next comment instead of going back and forth bantering like sheep!
Real talk its very sad that this young boy is fighting or his life i know him personally. But in this time the riding skills of most teenage boys are not there like they use to be and they all believe they are invincible to everything just like many of you commenting on here now. Just like @Swing voter I also packed raced and know the risk but we rode sens bile unlike teens today.
I am an immediate family member of the 16yr old young man. At this point we are just praying for him to recover well. Also, we are sending our love and prayers to the other young man involved in the accident that was badly injured. Things like this are not intended to happen but can be avoided. Both families have alot to worry about right now, all of you making ignorant comments i will pray for you too. in the long run you never know what you will be up against. Thanks to those who are sending their love and prayers your support for him has been amazing. Xo
pull through bestfriend I love you
