Voice/SMS Network Issues [Update: Resolved]
[Updated] Digicel customers may be impacted by a technical issue this morning [Dec 8], however Digicel’s technical team is working towards a resolution.
A spokesperson said: “Digicel Bermuda is aware of and working hard to resolve an issue that is affecting outgoing voice calls and SMS messages. Data services do not appear to be affected. The technical team is fully engaged and working steady towards a resolution.
“Digicel is very sorry for the inconvenience being caused to customers and is focused on resolving the issue as quickly as possible. For periodic updates customers may follow Digicel on Facebook or on Twitter.
“A further update will be provided once more information is available or when the issue has been fully resolved.
Update 10.24am: Digicel stated that all outgoing voice and SMS services are now fully operational again.
