Results: Senior Netball League

The Bermuda Netball Association’s League Season got back underway on Saturday [Jan 5] at the Bernard’s Park.The game of the night was the match involving the first place Data Tech Netts facing off against second place WWC Panthers.

Gina Benjamin scored 40 goals to lead the Data Tech Netts to a 57 – 34 victory over the WWC Panthers, Kimale Evans chipped in with 17 goals. Deborah Deshields scored 23 goals for the WWC Panthers and Kirstin Saltus scored 11 goals.

The Young Men Social Club Lady Bluebirds defeated the Young Men Social Club’s Blazzin Bluebirds 65 – 39. Danielle Raynor scored 45 goals for the Young Men Social Club Lady Bluebirds, while Ebonie Burgess added 9 goals and Shanele Lewis chipped in with 6 goals. Frederica Samuels scored 35 goals for the Young Men Social Club’s Blazzin Bluebirds, while Akelah Hendrickson added 4 goals.

The Signworx Netts defeated Robin Hood 37 – 25, the Signworx Netts got 24 goals from Danielle Onyia, 5 goals apiece from Jaylyn Hines and Jasmyn Renfroe, while Diara Benjamin 3 goals. Katie Brown scored 15 goals for Robin Hood and Shannon Etchelles added 10 goals.

Five goals separated the final game of the evening as the SS Tigers defeated the North Village Lady Rams 40 – 35. The SS Tigers got 20 goals from both Rose Richardson and Jahturere Trott, while Nikita Trott scored 21 goals for the Lady Rams, Nichole Jennings added 8 goals and Kristin Holman scored 6 goals.
