Meet the Author/Book Signing With Dr Tankard
There will be a ‘Meet the Author & Book Signing’ session with Dr. Radell Tankard on 15 January at 5:30pm at the Bermuda National Library.
Dr. Tankard is the author of the book entitled The Evolution of Islam in Senegambia. He has conducted research in Africa and written on the topic of migration and economic development in Senegal. Dr. Tankard holds a doctorate in the field of African Studies concentrating on the concept of development. He has taught at Howard University and Morgan State University.
He has also served as the co-chair of the African Diaspora Heritage Trail [ADHT] Conference. He has appeared on several television and radio talk show programmes and has presented and moderated at numerous conferences dealing with religion, culture and education in Bermuda, Bahamas, West Africa and the United States. Dr. Tankard is also the author of Cup Match Legends and other Personalities.
