Flight Cancellations Due To East Coast Weather
American Airlines flight #1416 due to arrive from New York at 8:55pm this evening [Mar 6] has been cancelled due to inclement weather on the U.S. East Coast. Tomorrow morning’s scheduled departure [AA#1443] to New York has also been cancelled.
USA Today reports, “Airlines had preemptively canceled more than 1,300 flights by 3 a.m. this morning, grounding flights in anticipation of the storm’s wrath in the mid-Atlantic. By 11:10 a.m. ET, the number of flights canceled across the USA had ballooned to more than 1,900.”
