Top Fashionista Minkoff To Visit Bermuda
An industry leader in casual luxury handbags, accessories, and apparel, New York-based Rebecca Minkoff [pictured] will be heading to the island for Bermuda’s Fashion Week in July.
Known for her playful and subtly edgy designs, Ms Minkoff told the Racked.com fashion website today she is looking forward to visiting Bermuda for the first time.
“I’m going to Bermuda for July 4th, which is exciting because I’ve never been there,” she said. “The market director from Carine Roitfeld’s “CR Fashion Book” is from there, so she’s inviting a few designers and editors to Bermuda Fashion Week.
“I’m going to host a party and will be getting a nice little vacation out of it, too.”
California-born Ms Minkoff’s designs are a favorite of both everyday women and celebrities such as Agyness Deyn, Lauren Conrad, Keira Knightley, Ashley Greene, and Reese Witherspoon.
She has appeared on shows such as “Good Morning America”, “Fox Business News” and “Extra” to discuss her take on fashion and business.
In 2009, she was honoured as a New York Moves Power Women for her entrepreneurial success in the fashion industry.
