Vanessa James & Morgan Cipres 8th In Canada

Bermudian Vanessa James and her partner Morgan Cipres — competing for France — finished Day One of the ISU World Figure Skating Championships in 8th place after their performance in the Pairs Short Programme. The World Figure Skating Championships is taking place in London, Ontatio.

Russia’s Tatiana Volosozhar and Maxim Trankov are leading with 75.84 points, while Canadian pair Meagan Duhamel and Eric Radford are in second with 73.61 points and Aljona Savchenko and Robin Szolkowy from Germany round out the top three with 73.47 points. James and Cipres recorded a score of 60.98 points.
