Bailey Outerbridge To Open For Beach Boys
Bermudian singer/songwriter, Bailey Outerbridge will open for pop icons The Beach Boys at an annual benefit concert in Stamford, Connecticut on Saturday [June 1].
Kathie Lee and Frank Gifford will host the annual gala benefit for the charity Dana’s Angels Research Trust [DART] at Stamford’s Palace Theatre in downtown Stamford.
Ms Outerbridge will sing a duet with another young singer, Caroline Jones. This will be Ms Outerbridge’s second performance at a DART benefit; last year she sang a song she wrote before Natalie Cole took the stage for her concert.
The Beach Boys — marking more than a half century of making music — continue to ride the crest of a wave unparalleled in America’s musical history.
Led by veteran members Mike Love and Bruce Johnston, the Beach Boys will re-visit such classics as “Good Vibrations”, “Wouldn’t It Be Nice?” and “California Girls” during the Stamford show.
In 2010, Ms Outerbridge professionally recorded her first two songs, “Circus” and “Drop of Poison,” the former with help from veteran musicians including Bermudian drummer Andy Newmark. In 2011 she released another song, “All a Blur,” for Bermuda’s “Ride The Wave, Vol. 2″ charity album.
Last year aspiring indie/pop artist Ms Outerbridge recorded a cover of the Beatles’ classic “Revolution” was included in the Bermuda John Lennon tribute CD.
DART funds medical research, medical education, or medical or hospital care for the treatment and/or cure of Niemann-Pick Type C disease [NPC] or other similar diseases.

Obviously talented! Bailey – I would encourage you (and your well developed production team) to try writing/producing something other than main stream POP songs! Too easy, too predictable, no longevity or soul in it!
Hi Phil and Andrea, Connor and I plan on attending, however I know this is late notice. Is it too late to register for the event? Thanks Rhonda
