BEPRO Offering Community Resume Workshop

May 10, 2013

Bermuda’s Emerging Professionals [BEPRO], the young professionals division of the Bermuda Chamber of Commerce, will be hosting a free community workshop on Saturday, May 18th at the CedarBridge Academy, from 11am – 1pm. Designed for Bermudians to learn how to create a resume, or enhance the one they already have, this session is key for those seeking a more fruitful experience in their search for employment.

Coined, ‘Ready Your Resume’, the session will begin with a short presentation from Jennifer Smatt-Adkins, President of Ontru Limited and the Bermuda Human Resources Association, followed by one-on-one tutorials at individual computer stations; providing participants with a practical hands-on experience. All those in attendance will receive a free USB flash drive, sponsored by Digicel, to take their resume home with them, as well as other materials related to finding a job.

It is BEPRO’s desire that the individuals who attend the workshop be in genuine need of assistance in this area; those who do not have such resources readily available to them, and that possessing a resume they are proud of, will help set attendees on the right path toward obtaining the job they choose to pursue.

Interested persons are encouraged to RSVP as soon as possible to vwheatley@bcc.bm as there is limited space available.
