Man Arrested, Questioned About Double Murder
A 24 year old male Sandys man was arrested on Wednesday [May 29] in connection with the murder of Haile Outerbridge and Ricco Furbert at Belvin’s Variety store in January 2013.
A police spokesperson said, “The Bermuda Police Service is continuing its investigations into a shooting which occurred at Belvin’s Variety store on Happy Valley Road, Pembroke resulting in the death of Haile Outerbridge and Ricco Furbert on January 23rd 2013.”
“A 24 year old male from Sandys Parish was arrested on Wednesday 29th May by the Serious Crime Unit and is being questioned regarding this matter. No determination as to charge or any further details will be released at this time.

“The Bermuda Police Service continues to seek the assistance of the public in relation to this case. Anyone with information or evidence that can assist in bringing the offenders to justice is urged to make contact with the Serious Crime Unit.
