Decades old traditions blended with modern technology, as large numbers of Bermudians took to the internet to celebrate Bermuda Day.
Facebook status updates were dominated by the holiday, and the #BermudaDay hashtag was filled with photos, observations and humour on both the micro-blogging network Twitter and photo sharing application Instagram.
