Team Hiscox Bacardi Time Trial Cycling Results
The Bermuda Bicycle Association in conjunction with Team Hiscox held the Bacardi Time Trial on Sunday morning [May 26]. Alexander Miller covered the 1.6 Miles Junior Male 10 and Under Division with a time of 05:55.734, Nick Pilgrim finished second with a time of 05:58.695 and Megan Hands finished third clocking a time of 06:56.439.
Winners Edge rider Matthew Olivera won the Junior Male 13-14 Division that covered 7.8 Miles with a time of 22:38.030. Christian Oatley riding for Fast Forward Bicycle Works was second with a time of 23:42.404 and Crime Stoppers rider Zion Dowling finished third with a time of 25:06.505.
Winners Edge rider Victoria Davis won the Junior Female 13-14 Division with a time of 25:37.110, while Alex Pilgrim won the Junior male 11-12 Division clocking 24:48.391 riding for Fast Forward Bicycle Works. Winners Edge rider Alex Bordage finished second with a time of 25:39.180 and Crime Stoppers rider Nahje Smith finished third with a time of 25:48.057.
In the Adult 23.3 Miles Open Division Shannon Lawrence recorded the fastest time clocking 53:38.008, Winners Edge rider Darren Glasford finished second with a time of 56:02.043 and his teammate Mark Hatherley finished third clocking 56:48.801.
Winners Edge Nicole Mitchell recorded the fastest Women’s time crossing the line in a time of 1:01:19.052 finishing 16th overall, while finishing 18th overall was the second fastest Women’s time as Laurie Orchard riding for Fast Forward Bicycle Works clocked a time of 1:01:53.610 and Winners Edge rider Karen Smith finished 20th overall with a time of 1:02:16.587.
