Video: Keenan Bailey’s “My God Is Awesome”
Keenan Bailey — one half of the teenage musical duo HNK — has released a new music video to accompany his cover version of the inspirational song “My God Is Awesome.”
Berkeley Institute student Mr. Bailey originally recorded and uploaded the song on the Internet in January — and when it received more than a thousand views, he decided to make a new video to accompany the song of praise.
Earlier this month Mr. Bailey — also known by his stage name Keenan Exodia — and HNK musical partner Hollie Hassell released a new 11-song mixtape.
Mr. Bailey — who began taking piano lessons at the age of seven — has been writing songs, poems and stories since childhood and hopes to pursue his production skills in Canada after graduating from Berkeley later this year.
A veteran of the Chewstick Foundation’s open shows and their youth programme TWIGS [True Wisdom In Growing Souls], he hit the local headlines when he wrote and released a tribute song dedicated to murder victim Joshua Robinson.
