Two People Hospitalized After Two Car Collision

[Updated] A 21 year old Pembroke woman and a 33 year old Paget man are both in stable condition on a general ward following a two car collision early this morning [May 13] in Devonshire.

A police statement said, “Around 1:35am on Monday, May 13th police and first responders attended a reported two vehicle collision at the junction of Middle Road and Montpelier Road in Devonshire.

“It appears that a car was being driven along Middle Road while another car was exiting Montpelier Road when the vehicles collided. The drivers of the cars, a 33 year old Paget man and a 21 year old Pembroke woman respectively, were injured and taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment.

“At last check the Paget man was still being medically assessed while the Pembroke woman was in stable condition on a general ward. There were no other injuries reported; however both cars received extensive front end damage.

“Inquiries into this collision are ongoing and any witnesses are encouraged to contact PC Oliver Jones on 295-0011.”

Update 12.32pm: The Paget man is now in stable condition on a general ward.
