Ebonie Burgess & Will Haddrell Win Stroke Play
The Bermuda Amateur Stroke Play Championship and Bermuda Seniors Championship concluded on Monday [June 17] at the Port Royal Golf Course.
Ebonie Burgess won the Ladies Stroke Play with a four day total of 46-over par 330. Elizabeth Parsons carded a three day total of 78-over par 362 and finished in second place. Kathy Lloyd-Hines won the Ladies Seniors after shooting a three day total of 39-over par 252, Ann Symonds finished second after shooting a three day total of 56-over par 269.
Will Haddrell carded a 4-over 75 in the Men’s Amateur Stroke Play 3-over 287 for the four days and put his name on the Trophy, while Damian Palanyandi shot a Final Round 14-over par and recorded a four day total 313 as he finished in second place, Chris Brough finished in third place with a 32-over 316.
Jeffrey Lindo claimed the victory in the Men’s Seniors Division with a Final Round 5-over 76 for a three day total of 239, whilst Steve Hickmott finished in second with a three day score of 47-over 260,David Haigh and Angelo Pimental finished tied third with a total of 54-over par 267.
